Blackpoll WarblerThe blackpoll warbler is
somewhat similar to the black-and-white
warbler, but with substantially more black on
the head. Whereas the black-and-white has several black stripes
on its head, the blackpoll has a solid black cap and large white
patches on the lower part of the face. The females are often
identified by the orange legs. The species passes through Magee
during the last three weeks of May, with the peak being around the
third week of the month.
